At what point do you need Pushrods AND Valve Springs?

And can one get buy with just Push Rods and not Valve Springs.

I tried the search, but there was too much unrelated crap to search through.

I believe you will want springs once you start getting up in the mid thirties lower forties. It depends on your setup as well and how much back pressure you're developing. Not real sure on the rods but I imagine it would be about the same. I'm sure others will have some good advice as well.

Re: At what point do you need Pushrods AND Valve Springs?

Just do them both at the same time. $100 for valve springs and $200 for DI push rods just do them both

I was also wondering how much valve springs were. Didn't realize they were that cheap. Your right then, id just do them both.

I didn't plan on spending a whole lot on the engine, but if it has to come out, I mine as well do the typical upgrades while I have easy access.

Thanks.

You can do the springs and pushrods with out pulling the motor

Do you plan on getting it balanced with the different rods?

99.5 F-350 6-speed Daily Driver/Tow Rig.

Air - Empire Diesel Performance Compounds Procharger Primary / Garrett 38R Secondary

Oil- Swamps Gen-3

Go with an ATI damper rather than a fluidamper.

93 F350 Gasser
03 F250 6.0
