Re: SCT for 7.3

Send me your TS for a reburn.... There are way more parameters available to us tuners for the TS chips than what we can do with the SCT stuff.

Next step is getting some injectors and modding that H2e.

Tadd is about the only guy that I know of that still tunes SCT's for the 7.3... Good stuff on par with anything out there, but I prefer the TS platform...

Now the SCT sits on the shelf, but gets used to pull codes.

Re: SCT for 7.3

I still tune for the SCT for the 7.3, but you can't use PMT1 on a non PMT1 truck with SCT.

Actually you can, Matt. It's no different then if Jody reflashed a NVK2 computer with PMT1. SCT is a 4 bank programmer, so its works just like a chip overriding the factory program. We have used the SCT to do this many times when we don't have Jody's bench flasher with us.

Re: SCT for 7.3

The other reason I don't care for the SCT on the 7.3 is that I don't have all the parameters I need to do all the little "tricks" in the tuning I can do on the chips.
