KMC XD Series wheel lug nut torque

I recently purchased a set of KMC Hoss 8x170 pattern 18" wheels for my 2002 F250. I know the stock wheels with flat washer lugs are about 155 pounds, but I now have tapered lugs with these new wheels. It seems as though I can't get a hold of KMC on their website...so I guess I'd ask you guys. What is the torque spec on these wheels?

155 pounds. Why would the torque change? I wouldn't think oem specs change no matter what wheel you use. Just tighten them and be done with it, then recheck after 100 miles or so. Keep the torque wrench in the case.

Re: KMC XD Series wheel lug nut torque

I was thinking that the tapered lug would change the way force is applied to the wheel. But I got some info on it and chose to torque them to 140. Should be good. But thanks for the reply.
