Nitrous Schooling

Hey guys, I am looking into put some nitrous on my truck and I wanted to get some info. My old automotive teacher runs gas drag cars and he said he could help me get a kit together to put on my truck. So I was wondering what you guys are running, and what I would need to just piece a kit together. Thanks for any help!

Re: Nitrous Schooling

The easiest way for a mild 2 stage kit is fine a used 5.0 mustang dry kit from NOS. One more hose and a dry nozzle and you have a 2 stage kit because it comes with 2 noids. You can get fancy and use a hobbs switch for your second stage.

Not to be dumb, but what would the Hobbs switch be used for on the second stage? Thanks. Reuben

You can set it for a certain boost pressure so your second stage hits higher in the rpm band and is safer for the tires and the engine.
