Breaking a BTS

Sucks, but the customer service is better then can be expected.

Pulling tranny tonight to hopefully find a broken input shaft. Going to bust my @ss to make it to the pulls this weekend.

Re: Breaking a BTS

Glad their svc is good.......cuz there is a bunch of em being broke at your hp level now.

How many trannies has Scotty's truck chewed up now?

Not a BTS diss. Just seems to me there are issues now that these motors are finally making some power.

Re: Breaking a BTS

Input shafts and Converters are what are breaking. Converters are just like tires, they ain't gonna last forever.

I asked him if he thought I broke anything internal. He laughed and said no.

Re: Breaking a BTS

I wonder how many high hp cummins have a bts behind them? And how well they seem to handle the power?

How much power do you think you have now? Last time I was in Lead Hill, the tranny for Zanes rail was there on the stand and when asked what was different in that tranny compared to the tranny everybody else got, Brian laughed and said he builds them all the same. That being said, if there have been a rash of recent failures, I am sure he has gone over them with a fine tooth comb and is thinking about how to do it better. Good luck
