99 model year question

I have a 99 F350, 7.3 of course. Question I have is on the air filter system. I know they changed the air box mid year, but what else was changed to where the aftermarket has very few cold air kits for the early models? I know the battery box looks different. If that's all there is, I work at a salvage yard, so those are plentiful. The build date on mine is 02/98. Any info would be appreciated greatly. If the easiest thing to do is locate a filter kit for that model, does anyone have a line on where to get a good one? Thanks guys.

Re: 99 model year question

They all should fit.
The big diff in the e99 is thst it also had a fender hole intake .
The only kit that takes an addon is the ais. But afe2,s&b and similar iintakes fit.
As does the tymar and diy napa 6637.

Pretty much same for exhuast kits from what I have seen.

Early 99 f350 4x4 crew cab, auto. pmt2 pcm
2001 cup holder ,T500, MAX AC ASSIST AC mod, Diy Twin tymar, TS chip, Powerslots & Hawk pads, ford AIC, ..... with big fat want to list.
