Boost fooler gtp38r how many turns on waste gate?

So I'm wanting to do a boost fooler on my gtp38r. Does anyone know how many turns is required on the waste gate to keep it closed?

As tight as you can get it.

I think the paperwork that comes with the turbo says to close the wastegate flap, adjust the rod to where the rod end easily slides over the pin, then screw it in 6 full turns and apply pressure to the wastegate cylinder until it slides over the pin. This gives it some pre-load. However, 6 turns is not enough and it will open really early. I did at least 12 turns on mine then put compressed air to the wastegate cylinder until it lined up. I do not even have the red hose connected.

You are not going to hurt a 38r with stock or slightly upgraded injectors, so there is really no need to have a functioning wastegate.

So what you're saying is. Screw it as tight as it can go but still be attached?

Put air on the WG nipple so that the arm fully extends. Then thighten the arm down till it lines up with the pin while the flap is closed.
