Re: afe

Mine had a stage 1 when I bought it and then I got a stage 2. Definite sound difference. Looks better. Not sure how much performance difference because it got chipped shortly after the stage 2 so I couldn't really compare or remember. If you plan on doing more than just a chip, like anything with the turbo, or injectors, the stage 2 would become more beneficial. More air always is a good thing, but it is a good amount of money difference.

Just wanted to let you know that we're not in the office -- we're visiting Mickey in FL! We'll be happy to help you out as soon as we're back.

Re: afe

Look up Performance Truck Products and talk to Nate, he is a site sponsor. Tell him you are a PSN member and see if you can get a deal. He has both the S&B and AFE. I just ordered the AFE Stage II Pro 5 R from Nate on Friday.

You can just get a real Tymar kit..PM me with your zip for prices. Nothing has been proven to out flow and out clean a big Donaldson filter.

Re: afe

the main difference is that Stage 1 is just filter and top mount that installs on bottom of stock air box. Stage II is a complete open air intake system that replaces the stock airbox with an included battery tray. The stage 1 sells for like $200 and the stage II sells for over $400
