Talking 'Nother Satisfied DI/PTP Customer

Had a friend-of-a-friend get in touch with me. He had just but an '01 Lariat 4x4 crew-cab short bed. Truck only had 60,000 miles on it and was immaculate. Wanted to get a chip and air intake. So I had him call Diesel Innovations for the 6 position chip and Performance Truck Products for the S&B air intake. He called on a Monday and had both items on Wednesday.

He installed the S&B himself (sharp looking kit by the way) and wanted to know if I could install the chip, which I did.

I absolutely LOVE watching people's faces when they go from stock to a good chip! You'd think they just went down the track in a dragster or something, lol. Needless to say the guy was REALLY happy! Thanx again DI and PTP!

Stock truck to a chip is definatley an eye opener for everyone who has ever done it. I remember when I got my chip 2 years ago, I thought my truck was bad###.

Hey Danny. Did you pull the red line or install a boost fooler? My little bro's tripping out today because I pulled his red line and now he's setting codes... Guess I'm gonna have to build a fooler...

is the jump from good chip to 450hp as sweet?

Nah, I left it plugged in. No boostfooler. Hasn't set any code yet.

Well, I can try to put together a boost fooler and bring it to you when I get a chance. It's much nicer without the red line.
