does this sound right?

alright im almost positive my hpop is shot but i just want to throw this out there. on my highest setting at wot my egts only hit 1200 degrees and 28-29 psi of boost and i can hold the pedal down as long as i want and neither will exceed those readings is this normal these seem low to me but i could be wrong. would my week hpop cause these low readings do to it not pushing the injectors all the way? my truck has plenty of power i think and an know excessive smoke or anything any idea my mods are in the sig thanks

You are not getting enough fuel, I'd look at your icp pressure before going any futher. Call your tuner and see what the programs are calling for, then see if your pump is suppling what your tuner demands. Something on the fuel side isn't right. IIRC 55psi for fuel pressure @ wot is a little low, so you may have a small issue there as well. Good luck and keep us posted as to what you find

Re: does this sound right?

matt said he calls for 2850 psi for icp and ill just throw a shim in the fuel reg for now i didny know if low hpo would cause these low readings

If your inj are not recieving enough oil to do what is needed, then you will not be getting the fuel you want, and low egts in this case is from lack of fuel.

Re: does this sound right?

Shimming your fuel pressure regulator does nothing for oil pressure. You should at least be holding 2200 psi with an average pump.

And you are running position 6 right?

You need some more injector..... you have a 38r.... temps will be cooler than with the stock turbo.

yes thats on level six. doin about 90 and the truck keeps building speed and rpms just the egt tops out at 1200 no matter what as for the shim i know it has nothing to do with oil he just stated my fuel pressure sounded a little low.

matt if i was to get an adreniline pump or gen3 or any big oil would i need a reburn for that?

or would a set of single shot injectors help with the low hpo im think stage 2s

Re: does this sound right?

Sounds to me like your tuning is pretty good.

FWIW, my truck never gets over 1200 degrees unless its in smoke but it will hit 1300. I have a stock turbo too.

Yes, big oil would help you and yes you would need a reburn for a gen 3 but not for an adrenaline with your setup on your current programming.

I wouldn't even worry about stage 2s. If I was in your shoes my upgrade path would be an adrenaline first with your current setup then some hybrids made to my specs. That way you have just enough HPOP and an injector that can do everything well.

You could have a combo that can do everything well with your 38r. That setup would be able to make another 60HP over stock while maintaining STOCK EGTs, or do some serious whipping up on some rice burners. Can't ask for more than that.

Keeps pulling without exceeding 1200 degrees?

Sounds good to me too.
