AEM dry filter users???????

Anybody running an AEM intake and dry filter? Any good or bad experiences with them? Negative and positive feedback would be appreciated. Might be interested in your AFE Stage II for 2000 7.3 if anybody is getting ready to sell their truck. Thanks in advance!

Re: AEM dry filter users???????

I had one on my truck until i saw some dusting inside the intake tube. Might have been a defective filter, I'm not sure. Wound up with a Tymar for cheap

I had one on a ranger for a while and experienced the same thing. I found some dirt buildup inside the throttle body. When i get one on my PSD i'll probably stick with the AFE stage II

Re: AEM dry filter users???????

I had an AEM intake and dryflow in my 6.0 and I hated it. Truck would heat soak bad sitting at a stop light. I only had it on for a month so I didn't notice if any dust got by. I had the same intake on my Acura and it was excellent, no dust got by in the 40,000 miles I had it on. Of course my 4cyl ricer isn't pulling the air that a PSD does...
