Re: Intake

Best is use a Donaldson filter from Tymar..napa's not the same...never use a oiled type filter.

We only carry the BEST parts and never compromise just to get a sale.

Dealer for: Full Force, Tymar, BTS, Icon, Pure Performance, TW tunes, just to name a few.

Re: Intake

I don't have any problems with my AFE Stage 2, 5-layer, and it is oiled.

Oiled filters ..to much depends on "proper" cleaning and reoiling.

Re: Intake

I would look at the S&B kit. It is a complete airbox/battery tray replacement. It also comes with a lifetime filter. Their flow and filtration numbers are some of the best out there.

Re: Intake

I like my S&B. Intake temps aren't much higher than ambient, fit and finish is nice as well.

With my AFE 2, my intake temps are exactly equal to the ambient air temps, while going down the road.

The S&B looks nice, but I think the sealed air box is a little over rated. Just my $.02.
