turndown tip....quieter?

With a 4" straight piped turboback in my X, would a turndown tip lower the noise any?

You mean pointing the tip down towards the ground?? Maybe... I doubt it would make a difference in cab noises.

I definitely think so. When I first put my duals on I didn't have any tips at all and it sounded obnoxious, then I put on two turndowns pointed at the ground and it just plain sounds good. A real nice throaty sound is how I would describe it. Much quieter in the cab too.
