did a foil delete and thinking of paint need opinions

I did a foil delete today and am happy with the sound improvement,but I was thinking of painting the pipes,wondering what paint I should use,was thinking about some sort of red engine enamel to sort of match the rest of the truck

2002 ext. cab lwb 4x4 7.3
05 front 08 rear conversion
4in lift,forged rod motor,tunes by tsd,bts trans,6.0 transcooler,6 autometers to watch,studs,springs,push rods,238cc hybrids,itp reg return,stealth hpop,tsd custom fuel system and sump,an so on
6.0's pay the bills and 6.4's soon..

yea, and when you get to the powder coater, make sure they do not powdercoat the clamping surface, no matter even if they say theyve done it before,.... save yourself the headache

I used black engine enamel. Didnt let it dry enough before i put them back on, so they have some marks where it got scraped. A good cleaning and a few good coats and they still look good..

biggest waste of time ever.. I did it and no noise difference, and it looks like hell..

Intercooler couplers don't stick to paint. I left mine raw. They look like the rest of my messed up truck.

You dont need to used engine paint to paint things under the hood. I have used normal automotive paint as well as rust paints on noth engine blocks and parts. never pealed or flaked off. Normal paint is raited someware between 250-300 degrees. Cant remember anymore
