dear cam,

i am pretty sure i miss you. finally got to pull last night and it jus didn seem to be quite the same truck. everything was the same as the old motor except the cam. but it didn wanna rev but to about 3500 and it dropped to 2600 on the shift and didn recover very well. before i would shift at 3800-4000 and carry at least 3k down the track. everything is exactly the same as before but the cam..... discuss.

Re: dear cam,

what is there to discuss...

if you are not happy with the performance in your application, remove it and replace with factory cam

on edit: I would pull a few more times just to make sure it was in fact the cam causing the changes and not something else

. if you havent noticed upinsmoke there is always a debate about a cam doin any good. thats my findings. the motor thats gettin built this winter will have one. i just had to throw this motor in to make 4 more hook. plus i didn have time to do valve reliefs and stiffer springs.
