would coating the valve covers with a type of undercoating reduce the injector noise would it be bad for some heat reason? just curious going to change my glow plugs and figured while there off i might try something. any other sugestions to reduce engine noise?

Why the hell do you want to quiten down a diesel? If you dont want the noise, go buy a gasser.

I THINK one of the tuners here has a "drive-thru" tune that quiets the truck down, not sure if you can drive with it though. I wanna say it was Bill with PowerHungry. Might give 'em a shout.

I have drive thru on my truck from DP tuner. It's definitely quieter but still loud. I enjoy the sound of a diesel.
