Re: Tips for best 1/4 mile pass.

Hope you got traction bars because with all that lift I know you have axle wrap. It will be hell on it trying to boosted launch with those 41's. Good luck!

Re: Tips for best 1/4 mile pass.

as far as i last knew 140 aggressive and smoke were the same program, but clearly youre going to want to run in your highest hp program. so probably looking to be position B. 4 wheel high, boost about as much as you can without driving through the brakes, and launch at the last yellow light, do it right youll have low reaction times, and wont redlight, then just keep it on the track with your foot on the floor

Re: Tips for best 1/4 mile pass.

There's nothing wrong with 80E. I would try sveral different tunes just to see what they did. I bet there's not much difference. My 80E and 140E doesn't have much difference. I've been running them for nearly 5 years and over 100K miles. I have tried some other tunes from other people and they just don't perform as well.

Axle wrap is when your yoke is being pushed up from your truck taking off or accerrating. Your axle is trying to shift under accerlation. I assure the truck has some being as mine is stock in the rear and had a little axle wrap. Didnt realize it till I added some 7' bars.

Re: Tips for best 1/4 mile pass.

I won't run in 4 high I get a clunking sound when it's in 4 high right now and it can't be solved. It's been in the shop 3 times and hasn't gone away.

Also Jody made a smoke tune above 140 aggressive. Someone wanted a little more smoke so he made another tune.

Not running. I guess you can't be above 36" to crank. My truck is at 47"
