streight pipe

I streight piped my truck today and i hate it, it sounds to farty like a dodge or something im looking for something more hotrod...anyone else been through this? would mbrp give me that sound? what should i do.

02 F250 cc sb Lariet 4x4.
BTS Transmission installed/tuned by TSD
Autometer Ultralite II Trans,Pyro,Boost.
MBRP 4'' Cool Duals turboback with 5'' tips.
DIY tractionbars with Procomp mounts.
6637/zoodad intake,Drilled/slotted Rotors.

Wow I have never heard of anyone hating the straight pipe on their truck. MBRP would not sound as good on your truck as a straight pipe does along with any other muffler out there. I had a magnaflow on mine but it was too quiet.

oh and just so you know if your looking for the amazing sound a 6.0 makes there is no way to get that with the 7.3

I will also agree, I hate the sound of 7.3 striaght piped. Mbrp will be just as loud, except you won't have the popping noise on high side.

do a complete exhaust from turbo back.. mine was straight piped with factory pipe and was loud... did a diy kit with a 4" downpipe and 5" from there back... mine exhaust sounds totally different and has some good whistle to it.. best money ever spent rite there 4 me...

its ok when i get on it but at slow excell and low speeds it sounds like crap imo.....how does the 5 inch sound?

Mine sounds great have a 4 inch down to 5 inch stacks, mine has a nice throaty sound to it.

everyone has a different preferance. Just like music. I like the sound of my 4" Diamond eye with muffler & my neighbor has a strait pipe and I think his sounds lousy. Just depends on what you want. Add a good muffler to it and see.
