e99 7.3 injector ?'s

Hi everyone I am thinking about going stage 1 or 2's not sure yet. I use my e99 f350 to tow my 22 foot trophy fishing boat and my 30 ft 5th wheel. the questions I need help with are.

1. I can get a set of used ab stock injectors with 180,000 on them that are fine. they were removed to put 100hp injectors in. I can get them for 100. is it worth it.

2. I emailed a well know injector builder and was told that any 7.3 injects ab,ad etc injectors can be used for cores. since they all are going to flow the same ccs of fuel 160 cc etc. was also told that it dosent matter what injector solenoids are used ab ad ac etc since its a performance injector it dosent care what solenoid pack it has on it. is this true or false?

3. if it was you what would you do stage 1, 1.5 or stage 2 injectors for reliable daily driver/tow machine.

thanks for all your help and please school me still learning about the 7.3 way too many posts to read. thanks

Why would a well known injector builder lie? A solenoid is a solenoid, it converts electrical energy into mechanical energy. A good set of cores is worth 300, some injector builders more might give you more as store credit. If you never plan on upgrading oil and air I'd just get 160/30's

If you can pick up that set for 100 I would get them and send them in to be rebuilt as your new injectors then you have no down time or you might be able to depending on the builder sell him the extra set of injectors and save yourself 100 bucks off the price.

Talk with jim at rosewood diesel. Hes a sponsor here. I got my stage 2 injectors from him. Great customer service and a great product. Send those $100 injectors to him to get them rebuilt to a stage 1, 1.5 or 2. Whichever you like.

2000 f350 super duty 4x4. Leveling kit. 18" eagle wheels 35" tires. Originally a V10 now powered by an international 444 from a school bus. Billet converter. 2005 headlights. 4" turbo back exhaust. TS 6-pos chip. Non ebpv pedestal. Rosewood stage 2 injectors.

Another option is getting inj's first then send in your cores....no down time or $ wasted. PM me if I can help with a set.

We only carry the BEST parts and never compromise just to get a sale.

Dealer for: Full Force, Tymar, BTS, Icon, Pure Performance, TW tunes, just to name a few.

The injector builder was correct. Doesn't matter what code the solenoid has on it.

I would pick the set up for $100 and send them in to the injector builder of your choice. I would agree with Bruce. 160/30's for your situation.

1. Yes as long as they can be reused.
2. True
3. We sell 2 very well known injector builder injectors. 7.3l injectors I would do 160/30's or 175/80's for a strong running daily driver/tow truck. going 175/80's I suggest a better hpop like a T500 and fuel system.

Give us a call and we can discuss your options. We don't require an upfront core fee. However if you don't return cores are you charged one.
