got some new rubber and wheels for my dually

24 inch Alcoa's rims. now i know a lot of you all think this is dumb or it defeats the purpose of a dually but i had no problem pulling a goose neck loaded with a dozer yesterday. which is going to be the heaviest thing I'm going to put on my truck. i love the stance it gives my dually. :)

Looks sick

I was gunna do alcoa's but i went with american force the 19.5s were not much more for american force.

i went with 19.5 because they were cheaper . I wish i went bigger

What size tires is that 2wd or 4wd? stock height?

its still stock height. its 2wd, i was going to go with american force at first because they have a large hole rim i was crazy about but the 24 inch set was too expensive with tires. more than what i wanted to pay. then i ran along a machine shop that makes these alcoa rims with the large hole. I'm so pleased with the look. i get compliments everyday. i forget what the tire size is but its 6 ply tire. now i just gotta sell my 22.5 alcoa's.

Re: got some new rubber and wheels for my dually

For a second I was gunna ask you if it was 4wd. I was almost positive it was 2wd. I just wasn't sure because those front leaf spring trucks sit lower in the front than the coil spring trucks. My 01 dually 6" lift sits down in the front and up in the rear. It's 6"inches in the front but the rear looks like a 8"inch lift.

Are the 22.5s small hole ? Classic? And they are for a 99 to 04 dually? Is the 2wd bolt pattern same as 4wd?

Regardless of the performance effects, I think it's an awesome looking setup

Very clean truck +1

Re: got some new rubber and wheels for my dually

That's good. Yea my dad put on 22.5s classic american force with 34" terra grapplers. And he pulls a high lift bobcat and excavater bucket on his pull behind trailer. It's a heavy duty trailer he built himself.

His is a 12' red crew cab f350.

But a dozer is really heavy. I'm suprised to hear you have no issues.

I don't think it would be the same case with a high track dozer. I would be scared to pull that.
