Re: post up some tire pics
I'm on goodyear wrangler all terrain adventure with kevlar (mouthful of a name), stock size because 285s are back ordered nationally and 305s are pushing it on a 7" wheel.
i couldn't be happier so far. haven't logged a ton of miles or done any real offroad driving yet, but i did take them through a torrential downpour the other night. had a about 2000lb in the bed and about 2000lb worth of small trailer, we got a flash flood that had nearly a foot deep water on certain sections of interstate loop, and it rolled right through them at speed with barely even a tug laterally, no shake or groaning or hydroplaning.
also the sidewalls seem really solid, i have left them at the ford recommended pressure they have me, my last set seemed to buckle under the weight off the truck regardless of air and load, these took the bounce out of my ride and feel better so far, street wise, than any other at tire I've had, and these are pretty aggressive as far as A/T treads go
i thought it would be a good choice since its the latest tire in the line, and the LT sizes are dual kevlar like the silent armor models and expensive
