Stock bottom end

How much hp will stock forged rods and the stock pistons handle only thing that would be changed would put a griddle in it.

"The Lone Stroke" put out 700+ IIRC on stock bottom end.

Is putting a girdle in for a piece of mind or is it needed for say over 600 hp?

Black truck. 350/200 S472sxe arp, beehives, pushrods, fuel lab pump, stealth twins, swamps idm. Dana60 with ox locker. 33 row dorman transmission cooler. BTS transmission. 20x12 mo970 305/55 toyo open country.

2011 f350 36xxx 20x12ís -44 leveled.


White. 230,xxx 1995 f250 Dana 60, 5inch diamond eye. 6637. Winter/work truck.

It's a good idea. I wouldn't go bigger than 250's on forged rods. 600 ish hp is about the range most have successfully pushed forged rods to. Some have luck with more power, and some have had bad luck with even less power.

I'm pretty sure 600 is nothing & why get the heads done? The heads on a diesel don't matter usually

Heads do matter. Getting the air in and out quicker is the key of any engine to optimize power.

The deciding factor is at what point is it practical and beneficial. Along with what is done to the heads.
