Tuner oops!

I've been working on my truck this weekend. New 6 pos chip arrived on Friday and I've been itching to install it. I finally got a chance today, so I took out the PCM got the chip put in. Suddenly I remembered that I have a superchips tune on there set on "safe tow"!

Can I put the PCM back in my truck with the 6 pos chip on stock and then set my superchips tune back to stock, or do I have to take the 6 pos chip back out, put PCM back in truck, reset superchips back to stock, and then re- install 6 pos chip?

Re: Tuner oops!

The Ts should override what ever tune is on the PCM. It will be fine.

Re: Tuner oops!

Thanks guys! Just to be safe I put PCM back in, reconnected batteries, and put superchips back to stock. Now will put 6 pos chip in and put it all back together. Can't drive it yet until I finish my bearing replacement. My chip is a Diesel Innovations tuned chip and I am looking forward to comparing it to the TS tunes that are on the Excursion. Anyone have experience with these tunes?
