beans chip oppinions needed

I'm looking in purchasing beans 6pos chip for stock 7.3l diesel engine. I own a 1996 f350 powerstroke with 197k and want an option of hi idol and econ.... plus the small hp additions never bad. What's everyone opinions on his customizable 6pos? Is it worth 425$? And will I be able to notice the additional hp and fuel savings?? Let me know yalls experience with it please :) thanks

YIP! Best mod I did and from one of the most reputable companies. Power difference was night/day, but I wouldn't say you get a MPG gain..maybe if you try to and leave your foot off the pedal lol.

I had a buddy who drove my truck when it was stock...he said it was sluggish...than he drove it after I put the chip in not knowing and I had it set on the HOT tune when he borrowed it and was speechless...said it was like a damn bullet.

Ive heard nothing but great things about beans tunes i want a hydra for the 17 tune option but i don't think ill need anymore tunes after i get beans!

Do you guys think you'll need gauges t run a beans tuner? I plan on getting them but I'm moving for a while for work and won't have any of my tools.

There's nothin to it. Drill a hole, run a tap in. Too easy

They aren't gonna hurt the exhaust side of the turbo in any way.

Re: beans chip oppinions needed

Just grease the drill bit and grease the tap, the metal shavings will stick to the grease. Then wipe the area clean and use parts cleaner and a magnet to get the rest.
