This is my second one in 8 month I'm lucky it's still under warranty I've never had a problem driving standard but for some reason auto trans give me problems all the time for a good one what do you recommend I just had a regular factory one put in same as what came with the truck

Bts (Brians transmission shop). Best transmission out there but you are going to pay a pretty penny for it. It will take anything that you will probably throw at it. If you go with the stock transmission you should at the very least get a John Woods valve body, 6.0 trans cooler and trans temp gage at the very least

Bts, yes, its a bit more expensive than a ford trans, but you also have an UNLIMITED power and mileage warranty. Hell, I ran my bts out of fluid when I blew a trans cooler line on the freeway, and brian rebuilt it free of charge. I gaurentee no other trans shop would do that for you.

I have a 6spd and your best bet is to get a BTS. I love my manual. But, if I were in your shoes, there is nothing left to research. Buy the BTS tranny and never look back.

2002 f-350 PSD, 4x4, cc short bed, 6spd, ccv mod, airdog, AIS filter, isspro ev and scangauges, detroit TT, ITP boost annihalator, ITP RR, bellowed up-pipes, ats housing, turbomaster, 3.5 dp magnaflow, very happy with ultra smooth and linear PHP 50t, 80DD and "whisper" tunes.

If you had to do it all over again would you buy your truck with a ZF6 or 4R100?

And why?

How do you like driving your ZF6?
