Who's tunes for P.I.S 160/30s

I will be ordering a set if 160/30s from Tim . I will be needing tunes who would you suggest? So, far I'm considering dyno proven. I will be basically leaving every else stock for now but, as money provides I will be upgrading turbo an hpop.

Re: Who's tunes for P.I.S 160/30s

I'd at least add 175/80's and a valve body and tranny cooler. HPOP and turbo would rank below those. Dyno Proven will be good for your tuning on those. Any of the tuners that actually sell PIS injectors should be able to hook you up with tuning.

Is there something wrong with 160/30s? I chose them because I feel the will meet my expectations and needs. As said previously I don't wanna upgrade to much , just want more up an go for pulling the trailers .

Re: Who's tunes for P.I.S 160/30s

160/30 injectors are a great choice, especially from Tim. You will be happy if you are just looking for a nice little bump in power, and you want to keep everything else basically stock. The larger injector you go, the more modifications required. If you are running a stock truck right now, you will see a HUGE difference once you add the 160/30's and a tuner.

We sell P.I.S. injectors and would be happy to set you up with the tuning for them. Feel free to contact me if you want more info.

I'm hoping to have at least 350rwhp. I don't know if it doable with the stock hpop and charger. A honey badger as been mentioned to the wife, she is wanting to supercharge her stang though .

I have a set of new 160/30's from Tim....now I know people will likely disagree, but good god, put the high HP tune on and let'er go....you need more power than that why? You can hardly control the wheel spin.

175's just give you a little more head room and don't require anymore modifications than the 160's will. When you do decide to upgrade your turbo...you will be happier.

Re: Who's tunes for P.I.S 160/30s

Bigger sticks+ bigger turbo= more usable towing power which is what matters to me. If I could tow with the hp I have on the hot tune for stock sticks I would be more than happy. My brother got 175's with stock nozzles from Swamps and is now wanting more so get something bigger than you think you need right from the start. Btw the Swamps injectors run great but the 175/80's from PIS are right around the same price.
