VAN TURBO INSTALATION ?

Took a van turbo off a parts truck as well as the 4" down pipe and wanting to put it on my late 99 CC. My truck is stock and just wanting to up grade. What parts if any will I need? I was wondering about seals and clamp for turbo or anything else I might need.

Re: VAN TURBO INSTALATION ?

You'll need an outlet adapter....then you won't have a EBPV so you might as well delete the EBP pedestal. And it's not wastegated either, so you could clean up some of the WG solenoid wiring and tubing.

Re: VAN TURBO INSTALATION ?

I'll check and see but it was a running 7.3 that I pulled the motor and exhaust from. I'm pretty sure all the parts would be there but didn't know if I could just put the turbo and exhaust on mine with out changing the pedestal and replacing the seals

If it came off a van and has never been on a truck then you'll need that piece.

Re: VAN TURBO INSTALATION ?

My bad. Its a van turbo that was on a 2000 F250 with a 4" down pipe and I'm putting it on a stock late 99 psd. Idk if I needed to replace seals or gaskets.
