Adding leveling kit. Questions?

2000 f350 7.3l 4x4 srw. Fixin to add new x code springs along with 2.5" leveling kit to the front of truck and 4" blocks in the rear. 315/75r16 toyo mt's all the way around on stock wheels. Leveling kit came with trac bar relocating bracket. Should I purchase an adjustable trac bar, or will the bracket be enough? Could I use both bracket and adjustable trac bar together? Can I reuse my stock shocks or am I gonna need new? The most offroading this truck sees is rollin around my deer lease so, I'm hoping that rubbing will be minimal. I think I can live with some rubbing on the leaf springs. I'm expecting that at least. Is there anything I'm missing? Thanks for any input.

Re: Adding leveling kit. Questions?

the whole idea with leveling kit is just changing shackle mounts/spring perch, you dont have to change springs, I put 2" Leveling kit on my 01 and it raised it more like 3.5", had to put blocks in back to bring the rear back to level, I ran 35s ( I think that comes out the a 315)with no problem, I would take it to pismo and climb dunes and never had rubbing , you might need to trim plastic below front bumper,

when I say went to pismo it wasn't just pulling 5th wheel down the beach, some nights it would be making a mid-night run to the dunes after a afternoon of fun/drinking and beat the crap out of my truck still with no rubbing, that was also almost 10 years ago, Im a little more mature now, not much though

Re: Adding leveling kit. Questions?

You will need a adj track bar, droped Pitman arm.
maybe longer shocks and sway bar links.

We only carry the BEST parts and never compromise just to get a sale.

Dealer for: Full Force, Tymar, BTS, Icon, Pure Performance, TW tunes, just to name a few.

Re: Adding leveling kit. Questions?

Who makes the best adj trac bar? Why would I need one if I have the drop bracket?

As long as you have the drop trac bar bracket you should be okay just see how it is when you install it. But If you go with an adj trac bar I would get one from Precious metal fab.
