should i have more power?

I have a 1997 powerstroke straight pipe, ts performance 6 pos chip, banks trans command, on 315/75/16 tires, truck feels like it takes a really long time to spool up, and if you hold the brake and gas at the same time even if you floor it, it will bog and not spool up or spin the tires. Shouldn't it light them up easy?also has a brand new fuel filter, and pump and i rebuilt and cleaned the fuel bowl. Do i have a turbo problem? Any help much appreciated

You're prolly only making 280-300 horse if everything is in tip top shape. You might have an up pipe or boost leak. How do egt look? How does ICP and duty cycle look? Fuel pressure?

a 1997 non-California truck can't make more than @ 200-220rwhp with alll the tuning in the universe. Stock AA injectors don't flow more than 94cc's.

Only 96-97 California trucks, although some Californias were sold all over the country at the end of OBS production.

Re: should i have more power?

Pretty tight budget not looking for a race truck just a little more power like 30-50hp without doing too much damage to engine or trans, should i look into a better intake like a baldwin PA2818?
