What tunes?

For those with built motors, singles, studs, turbo(s), etc. What off the shelf DP tunes are you guys running? My motor is balanced to 4k and was wanting to try some more rpms. The highest I can it mine to rev is 3300. I have ran these tunes for close to 2 years:

high idle
stock
tow 1
tow 2
race
extreme

My high idle jumps all over the place. The stock tune has to be my PMT2 for split shot, it misses and it very quiet. What is Tow 1? I haven't ran it but a couple of miles, but it doesn't do much for my truck and the trans shifts funny in that tune. I love Tow 2, no smoke and it's pretty much my daily tune and my only "tow" tune. Race is one of my other dd tunes also, I enjoy it. Extreme is nasty and covers the highway, hauls arse, I like it also. I'm think of getting these:

No start
Modified Stock
Tow 2
Econo
Performance
Extreme

Tell my what you think. The other day I burned some TS files to compare. The TS tunes felt stronger and had more smoke. I don't know what I need, Please help.

I don't have those mods but i can add- Jody has come along way in the last two years, he has ALOT more stuff sorted out, and basically down to a science. I could wager lunch money for a week that he has done tuning on every possible engine/performance level/modification combo that's out there, and im sure he could wake up your truck. Just tell him what you want. If you are looking for a economy tune (power level) but want to use it DD, then tell him to get the hybrid tow/econo file without the stock-fueling tip in... I had that when i first got the chip and hated it. It would cut fueling (to a stock level) when you just nudged in the throttle when cruising to prevent smoke, but it made the truck like a dog. And, i like how the tow tunes shift, i got him to burn all my tunes like that.

Jody is not too far from you. You really need to call him and set-up a live tune session. He found 60 hp with mine making minor changes.

Mikey, they are reverse hybrids....that means you install them upside down!!

I heard they were also low oil consumption injectors.

You have to run the truck at least 2 gals low to get them to run properly.

jody has 4 tow tunes that i know of
40 hp tow
40 hp tow heavy
60 hp tow
80 hp tow
80 economy,is what i use most of the time,but i like 120 race,but my trans doesn't.
