7.3 performance?s

My buddy sold his 06 cummins to buy a house. He got a heck of a deal on an 00 automatic. I was looking for a good chip or programer, and he got his panties in a wad and bought a diablo programer like what he had in is cummins. Hes unhappy with it, is there any custom tune, like they had for the 5.9s for the 7.3s or is there somthing we can stack with it? Thanks for the help in advance.

Re: 7.3 performance?s

I do not believe you can stack chips/programs on a 7.3. A chip over rides the program in the pcm.

I have a dp and love it!!!

All of the good tuners are sponsors here. Just read up, pick your tuner and enjoy. If there is one close to you that is the one I would use.

Re: 7.3 performance?s

check out tony wildmans site at total diesel performance . He has been tuning the 7.3's for a while . There are also alot of DP tuners around and maybe you could get one used for cheap and have it reburned.

So true - glad to have another Hoosier here. Franklin/Whiteland checking in with you guys.

:-)

As for the programmer - search around here on the boards. There are many many threads about what to get and what not to get.
