Hey guys. You all are getting me into these mods on my mostly stock PS.
I was givin a Big G module to put on py 01. It is the fuel miser one. 50 hp and 150 lbs tourqe. I read some threads on here about stock head bolts and to much psi. Does this seem like a mild enough mod or should I worry about damage with 250k miles? My truck runs great and only has a open air intake for after market mods.

Don't even bother with it. It's just a sensor fooler for the ICP and the oil temp sensor.
Get a real chip or programmer that will do much much more.
As for power increases, your heads will be fine with whatever chip you do throw in there.

If it's just been given to you, run it. If you're not in a financial situation to buy anything right now, then go ahead and install it. It's not going to hurt anything. If anything, it will give you a greater appreciation for actual tuning that comes with a programmer or chip.....vs. just fooling sensor inputs.
Those "signal corrupting devices" DO work ok. Ok as in, they make a noticeable difference.
