Up Pipe Bellow?

Are these the bellows everyone is using for the up pipes? Also would it be a good idea to put a 3" one in my intermeadiate pipe to allow for expansion?

Thanks

Re: Up Pipe Bellow?

So they wont work then because of the drive pressure. I see on the page it says for downpipes.

Also found these. http://www.verociousmotorsports.com/...xible-Coupling

Re: Up Pipe Bellow?

The one I used is not braided. It's purely a bellows. It has been working fine for a couple years now. It is 304 stainless. And it has a much better ratio of diameter to length than most.

You'll pay for them though...

I gave just over 200 dollars for that one bellow.

Re: Up Pipe Bellow?

Dam I found a 3" bellow that was braided that was only 4" long. Also where is a good source to get the v-band kits for up pipes?

Re: Up Pipe Bellow?

I'd get the ones from verocious with the interlocking liner.
Verocious and atp turbo have the v-band stuff...

I've never seen a bellow in an intermedaite pipe. Although most are very short and a bellow wouldn't do much. If it's a long pipe like Charles' I probably would.

Re: Up Pipe Bellow?

Charles, or anyone, IYO would a bellow be necessary with ceramic coating? I believe UNCOOL, and Jim both run up pipes without bellows of any kind. Didn't know if it would pry your manifolds off the block with ceramics, or in this case push the two turbos away from eachother.

No bellows in my install, just the factory up-pipe collectors.
