Does any one know how the sct programmer performs on the 99 and up 7.3?

Re: SCT

SCT is the ticket for a 6.0, but you are much better off with a DP tuner for your 7.3. The programing is better on a flip chip and you have the ability to switch power levels on the fly.

Send that TS chip off to Matt @ Gear Head and he can reprogram that for ya with some good tunes.

Re: SCT

We've got the option to change programs on the fly with the 7.3's PCM. Why not use it?

Re: SCT

At one point Bully Dog had a programmer that would allow you to change levels on the fly. This was done by rewriting part of the Operating System to allow for additional maps and functions to be embedded elsewhere in memory and selecting those by using some sort of control through the programmer. I don't know if they still have such a thing.

Take care.

Re: SCT

Well the edge has shift on the fly, 5 or 6 settings, but the tunes are just not as good, why cant the custom guys just use the same hardware and make shiftable settings?
