Re: bullydog shift enhancer

if it is what i think it is , they are similar to a sonnax (sonnex)? kit
a few people said it helped some , but don't expect a whole lot out of them.

most seem do do valve body changes as the cheapy tranny fix.
followed by billet tq's , eventually they get enough mods to require fully bult trannies.

a lot of people seem to like the woods or bts valve body or the transgo tugger kit.

Re: bullydog shift enhancer

I had the bully dog shift kit, all it came with was just a valve and three springs. I thought it worked well for the $80 it cost, shifts were nice and firm. tranny temps never got hot.... granted i never was towing 10k+ with it either

Re: bullydog shift enhancer

Read the first linked file in David's last post that is the complete install.

But BD shift improver = sonnax shift kit.
Yes you have to remove the trans pan, the filter and the accumulator.

And if you want it even easier spend 200 on a modified accumulator(some call it a valve body too) take the old one out and bolt the new one in.
