well if my block is cracked what should i do. i have a spare block in the garage which will be the new engine. should i put a girdle in it? i have 238cc hybrids in it right now. future plans are diff hpop, fuel system, and either a modded h2e or a s400 (gotta get w/ a turbo person - regarding what would be the best option for me). the engine has studs in it right now and will be getting push rods and valve springs for sure (either way). don't know if i need the girdle or not.
my engine seems to have the same problem as PTSUPERD (low oil pressure). i will find out soon as i get a chance to tear into the engine regarding whats wrong.

Re: rebuild?

Depends on how far you want to take the motor. If you plan on staying in the 400-500 range then you probably won't need it.

For me if this motor comes out a girdle will be going back in cheap insurance..

Could be a snowball effect too... then you are going to need aftermarket rods...
