Can i put this chip on my truck???

im buying a chip out of a truck the same year trans..... the trucks the same as mine but to i have to get the chip reburnt to run my truck or will it vin lock ive heard both ???? need some advice thanks

As far as I know, that company is out of business. So no reburning. Someone else more familiar with those will have to let us know if you'll even be able to swap it into your truck...because I have no idea.

my opinion: Its worth the bucks to get some custom tunes, from a company that is IN business, who can reburn tunes or help you out if you have problems.

Hey, welcome to PSN. There is alot of information to be learned here.You might want to move this thread to the 7.3 Aftermarket and Upgrade Forum. I think you you started it you can move it. There is a tab up top in red labeled Thread Tools. That is what I suggest. It should get some good exposure over there. Good luck and welcome.

I got a DI chip out of a 02 and it works fine!
