Loading new tunes to F6?

So I got some new tunes from Jody, and wanted to load Nine tunes to the chip. I waited until it said that the tunes were verified.

I can use all the tunes but position nine.

The chip only had eight positions before. Do I need to reprogram the switch?
I know that I had to program the switch w/ the F5, but I thought that the F6 did it though the computer.

You need to reprogram the switch. The current software doesn't update the switch.

Switch has to be manually updated, the chip doesn't tell it how many programs you have. I think the instructions are on the DP site.

Re: Loading new tunes to F6?

So I followed the instructions on the site. Turn key on, hold both buttons until "0" flashes... I never got the "0" to flash.

Any ideas?

Re: Loading new tunes to F6?

You have to let go after you press both buttons for a second. It will then flash.
Press +, then Press both buttons again before the dot goes out
Do this 5 times and you will notice the display will blank with the dot only.
Move it up to the position you want to be the top number
Wait 10 seconds and it will revert back to 1. Done

It's not easy by no means.
