Wide Open Performance Long Block Q's

Let me know what you all think about this motor as far as price and its possibility's i am thinking about it and a twin turbo setup with some high boost numbers, terminator HPOP kit, and some big injectors. Let me know how you think this will work out by that do you think the motor will hold 80-100 PSI boost im thinking track or sled with this truck.

$14,800.00 WOP Long Block Includes Chromoloy Rods, Aftermarket Pistons With Lower Compression, WOP Girdle, WOP Main Studs, WOP Head Studs, WOP Fire Rings, Rebuilt Heads with New Valves and Guides, Hardened Valve Seats, WOP Intake Plenums, WOP High Performance Valve Springs, New Oil Pan and New OEM Low Pressure Oil Pump, Balanced and Blue Printed.

* Manufacturer: Black Widow Diesel BWD 7.3 Stage II compound turbos
$10,000

***This kit is a complete bolt on kit designed for 230+ cc injectors providing quick spool up, more HP, low EGT's. It uses the factory intercooler location, with minimal installation hassles. We recommend an aftermarket intercooler for this set up along with our ceramic coated housings, up pipes, and manifolds***** Due to the high output of this kit, it requires supporting engine modifications such as H11 head studs, fire rings, valve springs, pushrods, girdle, and aftermarket connecting rods. With the right injectors, this kit will make 100+ PSI of boost. +Picture is of this kit+ ****this set up is now redesigned and available*** Kit comes with both turbos, intake, intercooler pipes, downpipe, and our CNC oil drain flange kit. Some minor relocation is required, however A/C is retained as are batteries.

In the market for a 99-02 F350

Re: Wide Open Performance Long Block Q's

I would just go w/ WOP all the way instead of the BWD twins, get the Twins from Zane at WOP.........BWD has had some back pressure isssues on their turbo set-ups ....unless it is fixed. But to not have a hassel later it will be easier to just use 1 vendor for the complete build vs. useing some parts from here and there and then when something goes wrong you only have to deal with 1 shop and not hear " well its their turbo" or " its the heads from______ that are causing your problem".

Just alot more peace of mind to just use 1 vendor IMHO......trust me I have be through it a couple times and was glad when I ended up the 3rd time just useing 1 vendor.

If you're going to buy the longblock from Zane, please Lord, let him setup the chargers.

They do very well with turbocharger systems. They have access to a helluva turbocharging advisor.

I would just do all of it at WOP. Talk to Zane and let him know what your looking for and you wont be sorry.

2001 F250, CCSB, 4X4, Auto, Forged rods
Lots of go fast parts and still slow.

Re: Wide Open Performance Long Block Q's

I think WOP could build you a motor and compound set-up you'd be VERY happy with. Best of the best
