Opinions on Hypermax injectors

I know all the big names that everybody recommends. But how do you guys feel about Hypermax stage I injectors? Preferably would like to hear from people that ran/run them, but I haven't seen too many. And yes I know hybrids are the way to go, but I am doing stage Is.

I think they are perfectly fine, never heard anything bad about them.

It's hard for someone to advise you on the proper way to pick the wrong injector type.

Good luck with that.

I got $850. You gonna pay the rest? If that's the case, then I'm down.

Re: Opinions on Hypermax injectors

Honestly, and i know youre bound and determined to buy injectors RIGHT now, but take the 850 and save it and put it towards some hybrids. Also, im assuming youre buying used injectors for 850? If youre shooting for high 300s, lowe 400s in the howerpower dept, something bigger than a stage 1 will be needed. I know spending the money on hybrids is more than stage 1s, but it is cheaper than doing stage 1s and then having to get something else down the road.

Now to answer your original question, Hypermax makes good injectors, but they tend to be oil hungry. To take advantage of what they have to offer you will most likely need a big oil setup of some flavor. If you add a big oil setup to your injectors, you have now spent more money than a set of mild hybrids, and you still wont make the horsepower.

Re: Opinions on Hypermax injectors

I love my Stage II Hypermax injectors, they run great. Good idle, good power, they do require a lot of oil however. Way more than my stock 230k mile 15-degree pump can supply.

Re: Opinions on Hypermax injectors

For $850, he's only going to get a larger nozzle...so they will not use any more HPOil than his stock injectors...they won't flow any more fuel, though, either.
