Boost ?

Anytime I am in it WOT, when the trans changes gears. I get turbo stall and fart bad. what is causing this and what can I do to fix. I go from 33psi to 10psi on 2-3 shift

01' F250 PSD CC 4x4, GTP38R, Hi-Flow outlet, DI Bellowed up-pipes, BTS Hpop, DI Regulated return, ITP Annilator, AM 3pod, AFE PG7 Stage II, Silverline 4in T-Back, 6.0 Trans cooler, Dp F5, BTS Trans, True-Trac 3.73, Powerslot Cryo, Rotella ELC, Nitto Terra 285/75/16E on Alcoa wheels

1.15 housing... The only way it should be sold...

I did not think my issue was surge?

84 Honda Sabre V65 1100: pipes, jet kit and new tires. Faster than I think I'll ever need.

i thought that was stall not surge

Surge happens while towing, stall happens on a shift. Stall is just the extra air exiting out through the air filter, when the engine RPMs drop from the shift.

I hope I explained that properly.

Yes stall is what is going on not surge. It happens on every shift at WOT, Somtimes its bad enough to downshift right after it upshifted, because it chokes it out.

My truck kind of does that too. I think chip tuning will fix it. I get some surging, but I know what you mean with the "choking out" after a shift.

Early 99 F-350
4" lift on 33's. Daily Driver/ Plow truck.
Swamp's Gen3, 300/200's, Tuning, 76mm Sledgehammer. BTS. Fuel system, ARP's, P-Rods, 910's, and a few other things. Stock Block.
