Smile do i need to upgrade my tranny?

hey guys this is the first time that i have posted anything and i have a few questions about my 4R100. First off i have a 2003 7.3L with a 4" TB Bully Dog exhaust and an aFe intake system. I also have a Diablo Predator tuner. I was just wondering if i need to upgrade my tranny with a shift kit or anything special or if it will be ok until i do more upgrades. Thanks for ur time guys.

Im sure its fine with no programmer on it,as long as its not shuttering or shaking on take off,but eventually id look into a valvebody like BTS at least.

Re: do i need to upgrade my tranny?

Until you're considering upgrading your injectors, I wouldn't worry one bit about your trans unless you're having issues already.
a shift kit will firm up shifts and make it "tighter", and is a nice upgrade.

Re: do i need to upgrade my tranny?

Transgo is a pretty good company in terms of shift kits, valve bodies, etc.
the one I want is the Electronic systems eliminator
www.eseliminator.com
BTS is also well known for quality VB's.

http://www.guzzle7pt3.com/bts.php Look at this and judge for your self. This is for a BTS VB- very good write up.
