Does anyone have the stock cam specs?: Lift, Duration (seat and .050 lift), LSA, Factory Installed Intake Centerline

I am having trouble locating such information....

Re: Cam Specs

Heres another question, and if it is deemed as off topic of sidetracking ill start another thread.

Has anyone played with an aftermarket cam that drasticly lowers egts? the reason i ask is Don M in the dodge world makes a pretty killer cam for the common rail cummins. If you ask him what kind of power the cam will add or things like that, hell tell you the purpose of the cam was to lower egts and help with spool up and broaden the power band. Installing one of these cams (with no other changes made to the motor or tuning) in a truck that would easily peg a 1600 degree pyro, resulted in CREEPING to amax of 1500 degrees. Thats a pretty significant drop in egts in my opinion. So the question is, has this ever been seen with any of the aftermarket cams for the 7.3? Or have most people playing with the cams done so trying to find the extra rpm our injection system says "screw you" on.

Re: Cam Specs

Cams seem to be rather new and experimental in our trucks.
Hopefully Dave's posting specs now

Re: Cam Specs

Swamps told me that people have tried aftermarket cams, like Hypermax and some others but they end up lossing power.

Re: Cam Specs

DI seems to have a cam that works well for the few people that have ran it. I have the specs but wont post them unless he gives me the ok.

Hmm... Things have come a long way in 4 or 5 years. The cam grinds that Swamps are questioning may not do any good, but there are some out there that work...Ask me how I know.

Luke, that card won't do any good without actually using a degree wheel...
