H2E compressor outlet flange

How are the outlet flanges measured/classified? I need to find out what flange is on my H2E I am working on putting in so I can get the mating flange and clamp for my intercooler piping. Also does anyone know of a good source for these flanges? And is it possible to get a flange based on the housing number?

Re: H2E compressor outlet flange

The outlet on mine doesn't have a flange. It is made to slide a 3" hose over with a clamp.

I know some are that way but there are different configurations of the H2E depending on original application. Mine has a flange. I have thought about just cutting off the flange and having a pipe welded on for a rubber boot but I would much rather have a v-band flange for a cleaner install.

I would much rather have the flanged outlet if I were in your position, one less boot that can blow off.

IMO, don't cut it. I would call Bean up tomorrow and ask him. If he can't get you what you need then I would check out www.atp-turbo.com and order it from them. They supplied me with all my boots and flanges for my turbo install. Great people, even better customer service.

Re: H2E compressor outlet flange

Sure, you could buy one of them fancy store bought things.
I took a washer the size of the flange, torched the center out bigger and welded the pipe to that. Clamp slides right on and has worked fine for a few years now.

But if they do sell just the fittings, I'd probably buy one myself.
