Head Studs and Gaskets
When my engine popped the head gaskets i decided to buy head studs i was wondering if i should get a certain brand of head gasket also? Or just put Ford ones back on it? I'm not looking to make over 35 PSI with the engine. Thanks in advance!!!

Most people are just using the Ford gaskets. There are aftermarket gaskets available but I haven't heard anybody claiming them to be superior.

i would just go back with ford or international. what was the cause of blown hg?

Thanks guys for the input! Well its a brandnew Reman from Ford i think it was an err on there part putting it together. I took it back because it was blowing white smoke and smelled like Anti-freeze They are fixing it for free and had my dad ask if they would put in head studs and they agree for no extra labor charge. And no i dont use dads money i'm deployed so i cant be there lolol I know if i didnt say that some one would chime in

Hopefully it wasn't the top of the block or head warped that caused it...did they mention if they're going to check that while they're fixing it?
