Re: upgrade help!

head studs, valve springs. if you're gonna spend the money on a 38r with bellowed up pipes ect you might has well step up to a t4 or t4i with a s366 or somethin like a modded h2e or hx50. you'll also need a regulated return, but if your oem hpop is strong you might be able to retain it

Re: upgrade help!

The only problem I see with the t4 mounts and turbo is cost. Not looking to achieve more that like 400-450 rwhp. Are studs and springs really required?

Re: upgrade help!

no, they are never required, but they are nice for peace of mind. hell if you only want that power level you don't even need 238's, you could do 175's

Re: upgrade help!

For 400-450 go with 200/80's. no need for a hpop and the 38r will work perfect with it. We have done this combo dozens of times with great results.

Re: upgrade help!

Start at the tank! Don't feed those injectors fuel froth! You'll need to upgrade the fuel lines from the tank to the pump. Compared to your mentioned mods, the cost is practically free!

Re: upgrade help!

Who is Tim? And when I do injectors I was thinking of the irate diesel pre pump filter and maybe a sump. Kinda cheap to do those. Is that what you mean?

Re: upgrade help!

tim at performance injection systems. he means the intank mods hutch and harpoon. mainly the hutch mod. search it on here or on google. fuel systems can add up quick, also there is an s366 kit in the classifieds for 1400 to your door, thats like a sore dick, you can't beat it

Re: upgrade help!

What fuel pump would you guys recommend? And you say I don't need an hpop but my truck has 235000+. Which would be better for me adrenaline or the t500?
