Newbie wanting to start upgrades.

I'm new to the site but I have read a lot in the past few days. I have an 02 f-250 mostly stock. S&b and turbo back 4 inch exhaust came with the truck when I bought it back in February. Ultimately I'm aiming for 425 to 450 hp but it's gonna take me a while to get there. I want to start with a regulated return and fuel bowl delete so I'm looking for the best bang for my buck that will still perform when I reach my hp goal. Don't really wanna have to go back and do the same thing over again. Any suggestions?

238/80's and a 38r. Tranny will need an upgraded valve body, 6.0 Cooler, if you have an auto. Gauges ect. Diesel innovations has good deals on regulated returns, strictly makes a really nice one as well. You should also do the in tank mods (hutch and harpoon). Also if you get rid of the fuel bowl you'll need per and post pump filtration

I know 38r is a turbo but what does 238/80 refer to? And what do you suggest for pre and post filtration?

238/80's are injectors, 238cc with an 80% over nozzle. pre pump you'll want like a 20 micron water seperator, post pump you'll want 2-5 micron filter

I'd do the in-tank mod first. If you're gonna do fuel mods, start at the beginning, in the tank! You'll be surprised about the crud you'll see in the mixing chamber in the tank. Here's a great link for this mod, and some others:
