Re: bully dog help

May be the switch itself. Trash the whole thing and get a better style chip from a vendor on here. Would be much better for the truck

Re: bully dog help

just pull it out..... that will take care of the issue.. if you dont want to do that it sounds like you need a new switch...

Re: bully dog help

thanks guys. I got it to work by taking out the switch and spraying a little contact cleaner in there. now I am wondering what is the matter with the bully dog setup? it seems to run pretty good, other than that switch sticking, I never had a problem with it.

Re: bully dog help

their isnt anything "wrong" with it... its just that their are far better tunes out their.... but it may not be worth upgrading to you if yours is already running fine.... are you running gauges?

Re: bully dog help

bullydog is hard on trannys and known for high egts... i used to have a superchip when i first got the truck, switched to some of jodys tunes at dp and it was night and day difference... id recommend doing yourself a favor and hook up with dp, php, or gearheads and get a setup ordered, and throw in an egt, boost, and trans temp gauge.. best 700$ ive spent on the truck

2002 7.3 stabbin waggon ... 4in turbo back, cold air, autometer pillar, dp-tuned...more to come, feel free to make donations
