Ball Buster Turbo

A friend from powerstroke.org is one of the admins over there. He is asking me about a ball buster turbo. He was told it is good for 50psi and 500hp. Anyone actually know of any truth or proof of this?

All I can find is an advertisement saying up to 500hp.

Thanks guys,
Howard

Re: Ball Buster Turbo

That is the same turbo as a TN journal bearing turbo. It's the DC built version as the first TN's were.

Re: Ball Buster Turbo

DC Turbo is jointly developed that turbo with TN. The first gen's were all built by DC but there was some balancing issues. TN started buying all the parts from DC and assembling them in house. This is when the TN's started coming with the polished compressor housing I believe.

The drop-ins branded other than TN are still all DC built and assembled AFAIK

Re: Ball Buster Turbo

Are they any good? Are their power claims accurate or just a pipe dream?

I think everyone knows how I feel about them.

Where have you been. We just argued like 8 pages worth for this.
