Edge Evolution

My buddie has an edge evolution tuner just out of curiosity we uploaded it to my truck, when i was pulling out i got into it pretty heavy and my SEL came on so i let out of it. The light stayed on for a few minutes and then went off. When i got home and put my scanner on the truck it said it was an overboost code. Is this something that could cause permanent damage? I don't have my gauges yet so i dont know how much boost i was pushing. I generally don't drive the truck hard and if i were to invest in a tuner any suggestions on which one and are there any mods i should do first?

Re: Edge Evolution

If you don't have aftermarket injectors, You won't be doing any damage. You will want to look into a boost fooler to prevent that code from being set.

Re: Edge Evolution

Super Duties defuel at about 24 PSI of boost, so you won't hurt anything at all.

Put gauges in it, and get tunes from a custom tuner. You won't know what hit your truck.
